Honda Unveils Civic Tourer Concept at 2013 Geneva Motor Show

Online, March 18, 2013 (Newswire.com) - While some images leaked to the internet a few days early, Honda of Frontenac is still proud to announce to many that the Honda Civic Tourer Wagon concept vehicle debuted at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Adapting the Civic into a more versatile wagon body style makes it more appealing to the European market where Honda intends to release the vehicle.

With styling that's designed to recall the Honda Aerodeck of the '80s, the Tourer features rear wheel arches that are dramatic enough for supercars, right alongside a plunging, futuristic rear glass design. Granted, this is a concept vehicle, so anything could change before it hits the streets, but with an autumn European debut planned, there likely won't be any substantial changes in store.

Despite the bold exterior design, the aggressive curves and unique appearance don't detract from the Civic Tourer's storage space. With 1.4L and 1.8L gasoline engines to choose from - as well as 2.2L and a 300-hp 1.6L i-DTEC turbocharged diesel options - there are plenty of choices for drivers eyeing this new Civic.
