HSTL Modular Study Features Paul Ryan Mobile Office

WASHINGTON, DC, October 17, 2015 (Newswire.com) - When U.S. Representative Paul Ryan first took office, he realized that many Wisconsin 1st District residents would find it difficult to visit one of his permanent offices due to ailments, work schedules, or family commitments.
So, each year, from Spring to Fall, Ryan's highly visible 1st District Mobile Office visits communities throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.
I need to hear from First District residents and be accessible to them.

At each stop, a staff member of Congressman Ryan's office is available to meet with residents to discuss concerns or questions they may have about federal issues and government agencies, according to the lawmaker.
Ryan is a fifth-generation Wisconsin native, born and raised in the community of Janesville. Currently serving his ninth term as a member of Congress, he is the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, where he focuses on many issues across the federal government.
"I need to hear from First District residents and be accessible to them,” Ryan said back in 2008 after the mobile office had made nearly 1900 visits to area communities from 1999 through 2007.
"The mobile office helps me do this. It's a great resource for people who don't live near a permanent congressional office. When the mobile office comes to their town or area, they can stop by and talk to a member of my staff about any difficulties they are having dealing with government agencies or share their views on issues before Congress. First District residents can check their local paper or our website (https://paulryan.house.gov/contact/mobileoffice.htm) for the latest mobile office schedule and take full advantage of the services it provides," Ryan said.
Today, the 1st District Mobile Office continues to serve as a popular extension of the lawmaker's other Constituent Services Centers.
Mobile Office Coordinator Cameron Clark has made it a familiar sight at libraries, baseball fields, senior centers, municipal building parking lots, and other community locations many of which are suggested by residents.
The mobile center has now completed its 2015 tour, and information about the 2016 Mobile Office Tour and schedule will be available in Spring 2016.
Area residents who are having trouble with a federal agency or would like to offer their opinions on legislative matters are encouraged to drop by and can visit https://paulryan.house.gov/contact/moschedule.htm for the most up-to-date schedule, or call toll-free at 1-888-909-RYAN (7926).
