Online, January 18, 2013 (Newswire.com) - 'Anantaya' means unending. Presenting an endless tale of traditional crafts, an endless endeavor of design and innovation, an endeavor of making things that are not just beautiful, but also beautifully fit into your lifestyle.
A concept design studio, 'Anantaya' is the brainchild of architect and designer duo- Geetanjali and Ayush. Committed to the development of ideas, we understand the importance of preservation of traditional handicrafts as well as the need to innovate, creating an array of cutting edge artifacts, home decor accessories, textiles, lighting solutions, furniture and many more utility products. We develop products that are pretty as well as intelligent that have a reason to be and are fun to use. Representing Indian sensibilities in a contemporary context, these products appeal to the discerning, quality conscious minds that like to make a statement.
We work with Rajasthani artisans, supporting local craft traditions by providing capital, technology and design and marketing interventions, which at the same time showcase the uniqueness of the state and its craftsmen.
In a short span of time, the brand has built a niche for itself by finding talents and collaborating with many creative geniuses.
We had partnered with the Jaipur Virasat Foundation to launch an interdisciplinary cultural space, called MELA - a creative collaboration to represent material cultures and handicrafts of Rajasthan, wherein people hold exhibitions, performances and workshops, to showcase and sell an interesting mix of home decor accessories, curated textiles, paintings, books and objects.
In another celebrated collaboration with Incubis Consultants, AKDPL(Ayush Kasliwal Designs Private Limited) has accomplished installation of the spectacular Yogic Mudras at the new International Arrival Lounge T3 at New Delhi Airport; something that the million passengers arriving into India feast their eyes on!
