Introducing Eco-Model Summer Rayne as Girl360's Girl of the Month

Online, October 8, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Chicago, Ill., October 8, 2009 ¬¬- Girl360, an online community and webzine for tween girls (www.girl360.net), is introducing Summer Rayne as its October Girl of the Month. Summer Rayne, an eco-model advocating sustainability issues through fashion, is a spokesperson, resident expert and the youngest member of the Board of Advisors for Planet Green, Discovery Network's new eco-lifestyle network.

"My advice to tween girls is to be as independent as possible and develop the strength from the inside," said Summer Rayne. "It's also important to remember that falling can be beautiful!"

Summer Rayne grew up fascinated with what makes insects move and the medicinal uses of plants. A graduate of Cornell University, she became an entomologist environmental scientist by training.
