Invents Unveils "Binoca-Block", Provide Eye Comfort When Using Binoculars

The new Binoca-Block is designed for binoculars but beneficial with other type optical equipment too.

The name of this product might seem misleading but it really isn't. The new Binoca-Block provides comfort to the eye socket and blocks out the undesirable light which makes it so difficult to see/view with binoculars in low light conditions. The curved eye piece minimizes unwanted outside light and, even better, reduces the fogging of the lenses. A stretchy sleeve times two with a cushion of neoprene molded to it serves as the 'block' of unwanted light. Sleeves will be made in many sizes to fit all brands and models of binoculars. The neoprene provides a comfortable cushion between the eyepieces and the users' eye sockets. It conforms to the contours of the user's face and effectively blocks out the unwanted and extraneous light that might otherwise enter through the eyepieces.

Initially the Binoca-Block was designed for use with binoculars but it is equally beneficial when used with other optical equipment such as monoculars and spotting scopes, telescopes, microscopes, cameras and rifle/gun scopes. It is packaged in pairs for those equipping stereoscopic instruments such as binoculars and most microscopes.

"Binoca-Block gives a superior light-tight seal when using multiple sets of binoculars or other recreational optics; it is interchangeable and provides a universal fit. It works perfectly and is comfortable."

Randall Burk, Inventor

The Patent Pending Binoca-Block was invented by Randall Burk of Lake Cormorant, MS, who said, “I have a prototype which works extremely well and performs as it was designed. It actually amazes me that no one has designed this before now. It gives a superior light-tight seal and is comfortable too. It is interchangeable and a universal fit where one set of Binoca-Blocks can be used with multiple sets of binoculars or other recreational optics. And, its ability to prevent condensation accumulating is beyond belief.”
