Invotek Makes Rapid COVID Testing Available Globally to Businesses and Organizations

LIVONIA, Mich., October 30, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Invotek announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) approval on the Biotime Antigen Rapid COVID test with full approval expected within the next few weeks. The Biotime IgM/IgG Antibody Rapid test, with full EUA approval, is one of the most mature in the global market with over 70 million tests with the following additional approvals: UK-MHRA, EU-CE, and Brazil ANVISA – (B-GMP).  

Currently, there are four antigen tests available with EUA approval, all but one requiring a secondary reading instrument. Biotime’s Antigen test is administered by either oral or nasal swab with no secondary or additional reading equipment needed.

Orders are currently being accepted and shipping will begin Monday, November 16, 2020. Each Biotime Rapid Antibody Test Kit comes with 25 pipettes, a reagent/buffer, and alcohol wipes. The Antigen tests come with 25 swabs, a reagent/buffer, and a specified oral or nasal swab.
