IPM Named to CRN's 2012 List of Tech Elite 250
Premiere list recognizes IT solution providers with deep technical expertise and premier certifications in North America
Online, March 7, 2012 (Newswire.com) - IPM, an award-winning IT consulting and systems integration firm, announced today it has been named to CRN's second annual list of the Tech Elite 250. Companies on the 2012 Tech Elite 250 list represent an elite group of IT solution providers that have invested in the training and education needed to earn the most technical certifications in the IT Channel.
In compiling the list, CRN editors worked with the UBM Channel research group and a team outside experts to define the most customer-beneficial technical certifications in the IT channel. CRN editors developed the Tech Elite list. It is based on the level and depth of certifications from EMC, IBM, Cisco, VMware, Citrix, Microsoft, Dell, HP, Symantec and NetApp. Editors worked with VARs and experts to define the most important certifications. They mapped the certifications against the key technology opportunities as defined by CRN's State of the Market and State of the Midmarket studies and built the list based on the level and depth of technical certifications within the VAR organization.
"IPM is continuously working to acquire partner and industry certifications because they give us the leading-edge expertise necessary to help organizations fully realize their business potential," said Myron Bari, President and CEO of IPM. "Technology innovation is constantly changing and advancing and it is our responsibility to keep pace and build an expert team capable of not just pushing the envelope but reinventing it."
Currently, IPM consultants hold upwards of 50 industry certifications, of which 20 are ranked advanced or master-level certifications. IPM is the longest standing Citrix Platinum Partner in the Northeast and also maintains Microsoft Gold, EMC Velocity, VMware Premier, AppSense Gold, Wyse Premier and Akamai Premier partnerships. IPM is also a founding member of the M7 Global Partners, which was named 2011 Microsoft Virtualization Partner of the Year.
"The 2012 Tech Elite 250 list recognizes an exclusive group of Solution Providers that have shown a dedication to helping customers innovate while reducing costs," said Kelley Damore, Vice President, Editorial Director at UBM Channel. "By identifying and adapting to the skills and training needed to best serve today's customers, members of the Tech Elite 250 have proven their commitment to delivering the products and services that today's end-users value most."
