iWorkGlobal Partners With Habitat for Humanity to Give Back

Teams collaborate to provide two Bay Area veteran families with playhouses

The iWorkGlobal Team with Habitat for Humanity

iWorkGlobal was honored to partner with Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley to build playhouses for two Bay Area veteran families. The event marked the kick off of iWorkGlobal’s corporate social responsibility program, MyGiving.

On July 25, 2018, the iWorkGlobal team joined members of Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley to paint and assemble two outdoor child playhouses. Given simple instructions and the children’s elaborate design requests, the iWorkGlobal team worked together as artists, roofers, and builders to deliver structures respectively themed princesses and dragons and the United States Coast Guard.

The day was filled with teamwork and gratitude, as we came together to give back to the community.

Jeff Phelps, CEO, iWorkGlobal

“The day was filled with teamwork and gratitude, as we came together to give back to the community,” said Jeff Phelps, CEO of iWorkGlobal. “It was an opportunity to combine our organization’s values – collaboration, creativity, dependability, and results – with our collective passion as individuals: generosity and goodwill. Being able to present a playhouse to one of the families and see the reactions on the children’s faces, was the highlight of the entire day.”

The mission of MyGiving is to make a positive impact on the environment and social well-being of communities around the world. The program encourages and highlights the individual and collective philanthropic efforts of the iWorkGlobal team. Through various methods, iWorkGlobal will match the support and contributions given to charitable organizations by its staff.
