J.T. Milford Announces His First Book of Poetry: 'Evocation, to Love, to Hope, to Dream'

J.T. Milford announces the publication and release of his first book of poetry, "Evocation, To Love, To Hope, To Dream." (Genre: inspirational and religious.) These poems reflect certain times, feelings and moments in his life, manifested in light, music, nature and things often hidden. The poems will make the reader feel nostalgic for moments past and wonder for the moments to come.

J.T. Milford was born on Sept. 1, 1929, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and graduated in 1952 with a business degree from Southwestern Louisiana Institute, then served two years as a First Lieutenant in the Air Force during the Korean intervention.

He practiced public accounting for 40 years as a CPA and began writing poetry before he retired 25 years ago. Having lived in Lake Charles, Louisiana, most of his life, he uses life there as a background for his poetry.

The poems are divided into five sections, with each offering a potpourri of feelings of both current and moments past. Evocation is now available at https://store.bookbaby.com/book/EVOCATION, and on September 15 at Amazon. For more information, go to the website: evocation1.com.
