The Cayman Islands Real Estate Brokers Association (CIREBA) has announced a new board of directors at its annual general meeting. The board includes leading real estate owner and broker of International Realty Group (IRG), Jeremy Hurst. Earlier, Jeremy served as Past President of the Cayman Islands Real Estate Brokers Association from 2008 to 2011. Also as a founder of the Cayman Islands Investment Council, Jeremy continues to advise the Cayman Islands government in a number of property related matters.
CIREBA also welcomed other directors to the board including Michael Day from Regal, Heather Carrigan from C.I. Sotheby's and Brian Wight from Better Properties among others.
Jeremy said he was honoured to be on the board of CIREBA and said “Being on the board of the CIREBA is quite an honour and I look forward to strengthen the outlook and of the Cayman Property Market and broaden its perspective at the international level.”
Describing his outlook about the Cayman Islands, Jeremy said that it was good to note that Cayman was on the up again despite the couple of tough years that the islands witnessed. With the economy starting to turn, confidence in the Cayman real estate market is coming back.

About Jeremy Hurst
Born and raised in Rochester, England in 1961, Jeremy Hurst attended University College London, where he obtained a BSc Hons. degree in Land Studies. Jeremy relocated to the Cayman Islands in 1987. He owns and operates a group of companies that offer property and investment related services to private investors, corporations, and developers in the Cayman Islands as well as in other Caribbean markets. These companies include International Realty Group Ltd. (IRG), International Relocation Consultants Ltd., and Cayman Office Concepts Ltd. Jeremy also served as Past President of the Cayman Islands Real Estate Brokers Association from 2008 to 2011 and was a founder of the Cayman Islands Investment Council. He continues to advise the Cayman Islands government in a number of property related capacities. Jeremy is also a member of the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman, becoming its youngest-ever president in 1995.
