Julie Bishop to Join Afiniti's Advisory Board

Julie adds further global expertise to support Afiniti's continued growth

​​​​Afiniti, the world’s leading provider of Artificial Intelligence-based behavioral pairing technology, today announces that Julie Bishop, Australia’s Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, will join Afiniti’s Advisory Board with immediate effect. Julie joins a senior group of former and current business and political leaders who provide strategic counsel on critical issues as Afiniti continues to expand around the world.

Julie Bishop is one of Australia’s senior political figures. She served as the country’s 38th Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2013 to 2018, becoming the first woman appointed to the role. Julie was also Minister for Ageing, Minister for Education, Science and Training and Minister for Women’s Issues. Julie was the first woman to be elected Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party, a position she held from 2007 to 2018. Since leaving office, she has been appointed Chair of the Telethon Kid’s Institute and a Trustee and Board member of The Prince’s Trust Australia. Julie has long been committed to technology and innovation which she demonstrated in her time as Foreign Minister by establishing the Innovation Xchange within the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to develop innovative solutions to intractable global development and health challenges.
