Justice Is Mind Announces Maine Premiere
The resort town of Ogunquit, Maine will serve as backdrop to the Maine premiere of Justice Is Mind at The Leavitt Theatre on September 28. Ogunquit marks the second stop of Justice Is Mind on its theatrical tour.
Online, September 17, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Mark Lund, executive producer, director and writer, is pleased to announce that Justice Is Mind will have its Maine premiere at The Leavitt Theatre in Ogunquit, Maine on September 28, 2013 at 7 PM. Tickets are $9.00. The seaside resort town of Ogunquit marks the second stop of Justice Is Mind on its theatrical tour.
"Holding the Maine premiere of Justice Is Mind in my favorite resort town of Ogunquit in a theatre that got its start during the silent film era, could not be more exciting," said Lund. "I look forward to presenting audiences in the Ogunquit region a dramatic courtroom thriller that is very topical in today's real world news."
Set in the near future where advanced MRI technology can read your memory, Justice Is Mind follows businessman and restaurant owner Henri Miller who has been afflicted with unexplained headaches since childhood. When he has the new FVMRI procedure and it reveals that he has allegedly shot and killed two people, the trial of the century begins in which Miller is faced with his own memory at trial. But all is not as it seems as a dark family secret, held by Henri's minister father Joseph, reveals itself in the courtroom.
Lund adds,"With President Obama supporting brain research with a $100 million initiative, recent Supreme Court cases regarding landmark DNA and privacy issues along with a July article in The Atlantic magazine titled 'Could the Government Get a Search Warrant for Your Thoughts' Justice Is Mind is a well-timed dramatic feature film."
