Knexus Content Engagement Platform Introduces Greater Flexibility for Marketers

The latest version of Knexus Platform reveals significant improvements & new features designed to help brands make their content work harder online and drive more profitable customer engagement.

Knexus has released the latest version of its Content Engagement Platform, with significant improvements & new features designed to help brands make their content work harder online and drive more profitable customer engagement.

In addition to its core capabilities of holding content assets in the Cloud & distributing quickly & easily across owned, earned & paid media, Knexus Platform includes a number of plug-in modules. These modules provide a flexible way for companies to add new capabilities & configure the Platform according to their needs. There are four in total, and according to Knexus, the Channels module makes it fast & easy for marketers to launch & manage their own content channels or hubs, without IT input. In the new version there's a focus on greater flexibility, so that marketers can create an unlimited number of pages, up to 10 main navigation tabs & unlimited sub-navigation in their Hubs. The enhanced drag & drop interface is quick to understand & it is impressive to see just how quickly you can build rich content sites without IT or web development skills.

Knexus places great emphasis on helping brands create ongoing conversations with customers online. In this version, they've extended the ability to create conversations whenever & wherever brands engage customers online, by including 'ask a question' and 'share an opinion' features around any HTML content displayed in a Channel or Hub. Commenting on this improved feature, Knexus Director of Client Experience Sherlyn Lee said 'By enabling online conversations for customers, our clients are able to increase trust & credibility, leverage advocacy and ultimately increase willingness to purchase'.
Knexus Platform now also includes improved integrated data capture that enables event registration & lead generation. Brands can now capture user data on a Channel or Hub, and either hold that data within Knexus, or seamlessly interfacing to an existing event management, CRM or marketing automation system.

A particular strength in earlier version of Knexus Platform has been how it helps brands harness different types of content to drive customer engagement. In this new release, Knexus has optimized the content moderation functionality as well as improved the upload and approval workflow of Brand Content and UGC (user generated content). Brands can now enable their customers or staff to upload content and decide whether or not to moderate the content before publishing. In addition, marketers using the management Console can now have either permission to push content to live directly or await a further approval before doing so. This feature is useful especially for regulated industries like Financial Services & Healthcare, where compliance is integral to any online publishing or engagement process.

One final change worth highlighting. When using the last version, there was a concern about whether the options to review before putting content live were robust enough. Knexus had focused its approach on speed of delivery, perhaps at the expense of perceived risks. In this new version there is a much more robust staging environment for both the Channels & Secure Hub plug in modules. All pages created or changes made to a Channel can now be reviewed in full and approved before going live. This enhanced review process works well and should give marketers additional peace of mind whilst further eliminating any risk of error.
