Larson Electronics Releases Explosion-Proof, Fluorescent Light Fixture, 40W, 24" Long, 3,118 Lumens
KEMP, Texas, October 29, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Larson Electronics, a Texas-based company with over 40 years of experience spearheading the industrial lighting and equipment sectors, announced the release of an explosion-proof, fluorescent light fixture for use in Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations. This 40-watt fluorescent fixture features a T4A temperature rating and is ideal for use in confined spaces. This light fixture features two 24-inch fluorescent lamps that are protected by an aluminum framed hinged glass door.
The HAL-24-2L-INTL-20WT8 explosion-proof, fluorescent light fixture is rated for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D hazardous locations. This light fixture is made of copper-free aluminum alloy and features an aluminum-framed, hinged glass door secured by four turn latches to protect the bulbs. The lamp reflector is corrosion-resistant, heavy-gauge aluminum coated with a high-gloss, reflective finish.
Larson Electronics’ explosion-proof, fluorescent light fixture is approved for use in marine environments and features two 20-watt bulbs that produce 1,559 lumens each and a 4100K color temperature rating. This unit features bulbs that have a 20,000-hour lamp life and has an electric multi-voltage ballast that works with 120V 60Hz, 220V 50Hz, 240V 60Hz, and 277V 60Hz. This unit comes with a standard surface mount configuration and is suitable for refineries, chemical manufacturing and more.
