Let GJEL Be Your Designated Driver on St. Patrick's Day
Call a cab, and Gillin, Jacobson, Ellis, Larsen, and Lucey will pay for the ride home
San Jose, CA, March 11, 2016 (Newswire.com) - The tail end of a festive holiday is a dangerous time to get behind the wheel of a car. In recent years, almost two out of three traffic fatalities in the early morning after St. Patrick’s Day were caused by drunk driving, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. To keep roads safe, the California personal injury firm Gillin, Jacobson, Ellis, Larsen, and Lucey (GJEL) is inviting anyone in the San Jose metro area or Tri-Valley metro area to participate in the Drink and Alive Free Cab Ride Program.
“Some say it’s better to be lucky than smart. We say, why choose?” said GJEL partner Andy Gillin. “Regardless of how you celebrate the luck of the Irish this St. Patrick’s Day, make the smart decision to take a cab ride home. It’s on us.”
