After releasing her first album "Silently" in 2004, she was discovered by Ajay Shah, previously with Babyface and Tracey Edmonds' Yab Yum Records, a part of Edmonds Entertainment Group. In 2006, Zyer joined Ajay Shah and Melodic Entertainment group as an associated writer and producer.
Ashton's charity of choice, Outward Bound, was established in 1962 and is the nation's leading provider of experiential education programs. The non-profit organization works with urban communities to provide environmental opportunities for underserved children worldwide. Ashton supports Outward Bound's Los Angeles chapter to underscore the importance of the organizations' goals. Until recently, the organization was solely run by volunteers and is dependent on government and local grants, as well as local donors to provide its services, which are critical for positive self-development of children.
The event will be held at the Edye Theater in Santa Monica. The Edye is located behind The Broad Stage on the SMC Performing Arts Center campus (Santa Monica Blvd., between 10th & 11th St., Santa Monica). Edye is a new performance and rehearsal hall dedicated to all arts eclectic and powerful. It's small, and intimate, and audiences will rarely experience being this up-close and personal with performance art and artists.
