London Hypnotherapist Provides Support for "Stoptober" Campaign
London Hypnotherapists backs the UK campaign to stop smoking during October.
Online, September 11, 2013 (Newswire.com) - A London based hypnotherapist is urging the public to look for practitioners registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) if they want to use hypnotherapy to help them give up smoking during the NHS's Stoptober campaign.
Many people use hypnotherapy to provide extra help in the process of giving up smoking. The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) is the UK regulator for complementary therapists that was set up with government funding and support.
Andy Cox of Assured Effects Hypnotherapy says: "Hypnotherapy is often used to help clients achieve the behavioural change needed to stop smoking but it's so important the public use someone who knows what they are doing."
"Our stop smoking programme takes only one session of 90 minutes. It works by using the power of your subconscious mind to change your thinking processes, thus it makes it much easier to stop. And the best bit is that it is drug free, immediate and painless!"
Andy added that: "Hypnotherapy is one of 14 therapies registered by the CNHC. There are over 5,000 practitioners on the register and members of the public can search the CNHC register to find practitioners in their local area. More than 170,000 searches have been carried out since the register first opened in 2009."
Assured Effects Hypnotherapy are offering a half-price stop smoking programme throughout October. This can run alongside the help offered by the NHS Stoptober campaign.
