Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Selects Pulsiam to Deliver Next-Generation CAD System in the Cloud

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) has awarded a multi-year contract to Pulsiam for the implementation of its next-generation Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. Pulsiam's flagship solution, SafetyNet One, will be deployed in the cloud and will feature integrated mapping and spatial intelligence powered by Esri's ArcGIS platform.

The new CAD system will support LASD's mission to serve over 10 million residents across Los Angeles County-managing 911 calls, dispatch operations, and real-time incident coordination across the largest sheriff's department in the United States.

"Being selected by LASD is a tremendous honor and milestone for Pulsiam," said Holly Blanks, Director of Global Business Development and Marketing at Pulsiam. "With SafetyNet One running in the cloud and tightly integrated with Esri's GIS technology, we're delivering a flexible, resilient solution designed to support LASD today and into the future."

Pulsiam President Henry Unger added, "Public safety professionals deserve tools that are as reliable and responsive as they are. This partnership with LASD reflects our long-standing commitment to delivering high-performance, mission-critical technology that evolves with our customers' needs. We are proud to support LASD as it continues to serve and protect one of the most complex jurisdictions in the country."

Highlights of the LASD Deployment:

  • Cloud-hosted deployment, offering high availability, scalability, and operational resilience

  • Esri ArcGIS integration for real-time incident and unit tracking, map-based dispatching, dashboards, and spatial analysis

  • Configurable workflows to meet the evolving needs of multi-agency coordination and large-scale public events

With this award, LASD joins a global community of public safety agencies leveraging Pulsiam's technology to support their daily mission-critical operations. The cloud-based SafetyNet One platform offers a future-ready foundation for emergency response as Los Angeles prepares for upcoming global events like the 2028 Olympic Games.
