• 1 in 5 couples within this segment spends over a million dollars on their wedding, with 8% spending over $3 million. 
• Nearly half of the couples pay for part or all of the wedding themselves, and this segment tends to skew a little older (fewer millennials than the others, though they are still the majority wedding client in this group). 
• They are the most educated of the all the budget segments and the heaviest bridal media users – brides and grooms having ultra luxury weddings do their homework and are not careless with how they spend their money."^[1]

Luxury events are different in that the normal constraints on budgets and dates do not apply, therefore, these weddings can be creative and bespoke. If a client wants rare flowers flown in overnight, they can have this done. If they want engraved keepsakes given to their wedding guests, they can have them made. In short, whatever they imagine, a luxury wedding planner can make it happen. 

A luxury event begins with determining the theme. Usually, a designer will begin with a vision board or art board that will bring together color, design aesthetic, and the personal preferences of the wedding couple. As the wedding evolves, the theme increases in scope and the production of the event can include dramatic imagery, performances, and design. In short, there are no limits when it comes to creating the perfect luxury wedding.
