Marissa Collections-Nashville Symphony-Marchesa Partnership

Online, August 5, 2010 (Newswire.com) - August 4, 2010, Naples, Florida-Marissa Collections will team with designer fashion house, Marchesa, to present the 2011 Symphony Spring Fashion Show on April 26, 2011, in Nashville, Tennessee. Hosted by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra League at Schermerhorn Symphony Center, the show will feature the New York-based designers' 2011 Fall Collection. In addition to the Runway show in April with personal appearances by the designers, Marissa Collections will host two Marchesa Trunk Shows in Nashville with a portion of the proceeds going to the Nashville Symphony and the Thor Johnson Scholarship Fund. Schermerhorn Symphony Center, the Nashville Symphony's home, was significantly damaged by the flooding that took place across Middle Tennessee in May 2010. The building is currently under repair and will reopen in January 2011.
