Marriage.com Announces Mixer on January

Online, January 18, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The premium online wedding planning company has teamed up with vendors and wedding specialists to create a fun event for engaged couples and industry professionals.
Marriage.com, the premium wedding and marriage network, has announced their first big public event. On Wednesday January 19th, they'll be throwing a Marriage.com Mixer at the Luxe Hotel in Bel Air from 7 - 10 p.m. The event is free, and interested guests can RSVP at http://marriage.com/mixers/.

The purpose of the event is to connect brides- and grooms-to-be with potential vendors for their wedding ceremony and reception. The first 50 brides who arrive will receive a free gift bag stuffed with wedding goodies.

"We wanted to have a fun event where brides could meet wedding professionals in a low-key, relaxed environment," said Katrina Razavi, one of the founders of Marriage.com.

Celebrity wedding planner and stylist Renee Strauss will kick off the mixer with a talk about her experiences in the industry. Renowned wedding florist Kevin Lee will be presenting a floral showcase. Hansen's Cakes will have a cake tasting, and complimentary appetizers and drinks will be served.

The mixer will also have a sneak peek of "The Brides of Beverly Hills," an upcoming reality show. A raffle will be held during the event, and the winner will receive a "Beverly Hills Bridal Package," including free luxury wedding services and other perks.

"We're just looking forward to seeing people network and have a great time," Razavi said. "This is our inaugural mixer, but we're planning many more!"
