May 1st is Cosplay at Starbucks Day

Online, April 27, 2010 (Newswire.com) - What started out as bunch of small local groups has quickly become a global phenomena with thousands of participants, and about 100 confirmed locations and times.

One company has recently offered a $200 prize to the "best picture or video" of the event.

A Starbucks, Inc. pr-representative was contacted and said that although she "couldn't promote the event" she would like to remind people to "bring a mug to save 10 cents and reduce waste".
