The event is a free community affair offering shopping, dining,visual and performing art experiences with the events being held every fourth Thursday of the month through October 2011.Thursdays on the Coast, "The Experience", Celebrate...its opening night!

Matt said, "Last year's Thursdays on the Coast events were just a beginning of new and great happenings in the Village. I look forward to spending time downtown during the TOTC events this season. I always have a fantastic time. It is great to mingle with friends and meet new acquaintances while exploring the Village. I'm inviting all of our Carlsbad residents to visit the Village on 4th Thursdays, March to October. Everyone will have a lot of fun"!

The event's mission is to bring people to the Village who may not normally visit on a Thursday evening, Combining fine art, live music and other types of performance. Thursdays on the Coast, The Experience, brings excitement to existing art galleries and the anticipation of new visitors to recently opened art galleries. Added this year is a special 10hr art gallery, filled with a host of local artists and a variety of art, and shopping.

Start the evening by picking up your self guided tour program of all participating venues at the event hub at The Foundry Studios at New Village Arts, located at 2787 State St., Carlsbad, CA 92008, (760) 433-3245, and enjoy the art, music, shopping and fine dining and excitement.

The new vitality to the Village creates a fun and engaging destination for visitors and residents alike. It's a wonderful opportunity for exposure.
