MicroEntrepreneur of the Year Rides Business Networking Skills to Success
Online, May 26, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Rob Coats, of Columbus, Ohio and New York, New York, has been named a 2010 MicroEntrepreneur of the Year by Increase CDC, Columbus, Ohio.
Coats was nominated by other community leaders for the award in recognition of his ability to use his skills in creating genuine and authentic connections with other people in order to find his own success.
"Rob is a visionary leader and entrepreneur that has something valuable to offer even the most experienced executive," said Jonathon Carter, Chairman, ASCEND, The Black Professional Association of Columbus." I've had the privilege to collaborate on several projects and am continually amazed by the depth of knowledge Rob offers in how to develop and nurture successful business relationships.
Coats is founder of 80/20 Marketing and the visionary behind Connect Your Life, LLC (CYL). Author, philanthropist, and community activist, he teaches entrepreneurs, young professionals, and youth to maximize their business networking abilities by creating and nurturing their connections. A successful mortgage broker and network marketing entrepreneur, he is becoming this generation's definitive expert on building, growing, and leveraging strong relationships.
Through his CYL foundation Coat's vision is to turn 100,000 young professionals into entrepreneurs by empowering them with his vision and challenging them to focus on creating jobs for other people instead of working for someone else. To date in 2010, Coats has already been a featured speaker at over 20 centers and colleges delivering his message of increased personal branding, business networking, and professionalism while continuing his mission to show that it is possible to be both young and successful, legally.
CYL has raised and contributed over $53,000 to various non-profit and charitable organizations. With plans to expand into other major markets in the next 3-5 years, Coats continues to move CYL in the direction of his goal to increase that number to over a million dollars in contributions.
Coats recently released his first book, Connect and Grow Rich, on his own Executive Suites Publishing Company. The book has dual purposes for the young entrepreneur, not only teaching how to grow wealthy mental, spiritual, and financial bank accounts, but is yet another step in showing that anyone can be whatever they want to be if they simply put their minds to it. The book is available through http://connectionaire.com/buy-the-book.
