Ministry Of Science And Technology (MOSTI) Awards Competitive Techno Fund Scheme To Aexio Software

Online, October 29, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - The Malaysian Ministry of Science and Technology (MOSTI) has awarded Aexio Software the highly coveted Techno Fund Scheme grant. The Techno Fund Scheme is part of the government's Ninth Malaysia Plan (2006-2010) initiative to stimulate the growth and successful innovation of Malaysian technology-based enterprises by increasing their level of R&D and commercialization.

This competitive grant is awarded to shortlisted companies, who have been identified for their revolutionary and forward thinking development of new and/or cutting edge technologies in five different technology clusters - Biotechnology, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Industry, Sea to Space, and Science and Technology (S&T) Core.

Aexio Software, which falls under the ICT category, is a homegrown, leading independent cellular software and solutions company. The company will undertake the development of an advanced network optimization performance platform which will enable Radio Frequency (RF) Engineers', to detect and optimize areas where the cellular network has low Quality of Service (QoS).
