Motorcycle sales have soured in the United Kingdom for 2010 according to statistics across the internet, this is probably due to various factors of the economic climate we have witnessed in the last 12 months.
Due to the recession we have witnessed in the last 12 months people are now looking at other options in the form of transportation.
Motorcycles are not only a cheaper form of transport than the car but the running costs are also lower, especially in the modern household where there are normally two working adults which means 2 vehicles per household.
Some of the facts that are selling more motorcycles are they are more fuel economic, with the souring prices of petrol, but they also are cheaper to insure than most cars. They also cause less congestion in our Towns and Cities.
The sales rise is not only on new motorcycles but also on used motorcycles, especially on the internet people are using on-line sites to buy motorcycles especially from classified and online auction website where they are certain to pick up a bargain.
Weather changes have also helped boost sales this year, since we have had a really cold winter it is predicted that we shall have a hot summer in 2010,which is great news for anyone who wants to go motorcycling this year.
