New Children's Book Release by Max P. Productions Titled "First Grade Short Vowel Sounds"
Max's "First Grade Short Vowel Sounds" spelling book is a great way to help kids keep up with their knowledge of what they learned in class. Max P. Productions is dedicated to teaching animal compassion worldwide and humane education.
Online, June 9, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Nicole Rivera founder of Max P. Productions and author of the children's book "Max, the Shelter Dog" has published her latest book titled "First Grade Short Vowel Sounds" (Max's Mini Spelling Book).
"Since writing 'Max, the Shelter Dog" in 2006 it has been Max's mission to teach animal compassion," Nicole says. "After writing "Max" we wrote his curriculum, puzzle book, coloring book and now his spelling book for first graders."
Max P. Productions was formed by Nicole Rivera in early 2011. The company is dedicated to teaching children humane education through a line of books featuring the character Max. "Every book that we write has an underlying message of compassion towards animals," says Nicole, "and although Max is our main character we will soon be adding more, like his best friend Dumpling, a persistent and curious corn snake."
Max's "First Grade Short Vowel Sounds" spelling book helps to reinforce what children are already learning in class. Children are asked to unscramble words, complete sentences, and fill in the short vowel, among others. When they complete the book they will have learned 71 words. The exercises are accompanied by fun and colorful illustrations.
"It is our hope that through Max's books children will learn compassion towards animals, understand their importance in this world and how much joy they give," Nicole says.
When asked what is next for Max, "Where do I begin? Of course more books. We are also working on a song, as well as animated content which will teach Max's mission, and our big project is the animated movie of 'Max, the Shelter Dog.'"
