New Escape Rooms Open in Cedar Lake, Indiana

CEDAR LAKE, Ind., April 21, 2019 (Newswire.com) - If you are looking for a new escape game in Northwest Indiana, you need to check out Locked In At The Lake. Located next to Aurelio's Pizza on U.S. 41, Locked In At The Lake offers separate escape rooms for both adults and kids.  

Bob and Melanie Tameling along with Jean and Jeff Lahm are the creators of all the fun. The Lahms partnered with the Tamelings to open the business, designing and building all the clues and puzzles themselves, after an escape room was created for a birthday party a few years ago. Their brainchild, Locked In At The Lake, houses two escape room games.

The Lake House Room caters to adults and is influenced by the town's history. This escape room is made up of challenging puzzles with surprises at every turn. It is ideal for corporate team building events and anyone looking to have fun.  

In addition to the adult escape room, the location is also home to Redbeard's Quest. An escape game geared especially for kids to solve all on their own, and perfect to celebrate a kids' birthday party. The kids must find the "three treasures of the Cedar Lake Sea" in the pirate-themed room, where they're left to solve the mysteries on their own. Meanwhile, parents can watch all the excitement from the viewing room on the comfort of a couch and a big screen TV. Additionally, Locked In At The Lake has partnered on special deals with Aurelio’s Pizza, so it really makes for the perfect kids birthday party.

Due to popular request Locked In At The Lake is working diligently to put together the next adult room with hopes to open a third escape room in the next few months.
