New Hampshire Restaurant Recognition Day - Sunday, September 19, 2010
Online, September 17, 2010 (Newswire.com) - New Hampshire - Many restaurant goers may be surprised on Sunday, September 19th if they plan a visit to one of the seven T-BONES or Cactus Jack's New Hampshire restaurants. In an extraordinary measure to show his appreciation to over 450 employees, Tom Boucher, owner and CEO of the restaurants decided to close on Sunday, September 19th to honor his employees and their families with a day-long celebration to be held at the Fisher Cats Stadium.
The day, September 19, 2010, is further significant because it is New Hampshire Restaurant Recognition Day, an annual day of appreciation proclaimed by Governor Lynch at the request of Boucher in 2008.
"We know how hard our employees work throughout the year and we also know what a vital a role they play in New Hampshire's essential hospitality industry", stated Boucher. "That is why we decided to give them the recognition they so deserve. We hope that our loyal patrons will understand and appreciate this effort." The fun-filled day will be from Noon until 5pm with opening remarks at 12:45pm by Tom Boucher. The event makes use of the entire Fisher Cats Stadium with batting practice, tug-of-war games, food, a live band and plenty of children's activities.
NH Restaurant Recognition Day is also the kick-off of the Great American Dine Out program held nationwide to support and raise funds to end childhood hunger in America. Participating restaurants donate during the week long event ending September 25, 2010. T-BONES Great American Eatery locations are in Bedford, Derry, Salem, Hudson and Laconia and Cactus Jack's locations are in Manchester and Laconia. For more information visit www.t-bones.com.
