Permanent Ability was launched back in 2008 by Brian Lanese, a three time Emmy Award winner. Their first EP, From the Womb to Hollywood was released that same year. Fast forward two years and the band has grown tremendously, not only in following, but in musicianship and in media value.

For their most recent EP, Bring it On, Permanent Ability attracted legendary producer Jim Hirt to their project (No Doubt, Incubus, Hoobastank, Fiona Apple and many others). In this new interview, Brian speaks on how Jim helped define the sound of Permanent Ability in the studio.
