New River Auto Mall Is Holding a Blood Drive With La Isla Magazine and The Blood Alliance on April 16

Online, April 16, 2013 (Newswire.com) - New River Auto Mall has served many drivers by offering exceptional vehicles from an impressive range of automakers, but even more important, they also have a legacy of contributing to the community in the Lowcountry. Their latest initiative is a blood drive on April 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., which will be held at Hilton Head Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in conjunction with La Isla Magazine and The Blood Alliance.

This is a local event with a local benefit: all of the blood donated will be used at local medical centers, meaning people can participate knowing that their blood will make a difference to fellow members of the community. "It's really important to us that the blood stays here in our community to help local people in need," says John Lyons, General Manager of Hilton Head Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. "We're happy to be able to host The Blood Alliance for the first time, and we know it's going to be a successful drive."

This event is just the latest initiative by New River Auto Mall to benefit the community - they've consistently demonstrated their commitment to people in the area, both on the road and off. This event, like so many community-enrichment projects, requires the involvement of area residents. The Blood Alliance bus will be parked at Hilton Head Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, and three people will be able to sign up every fifteen minutes. All participants will receive free hot dogs and hamburgers, and the first 25 people who donate will receive a pair of tickets to a Sand Gnats baseball game.
