Now Health Insurance: Price Decrease
Online, June 26, 2011 (Newswire.com) - In response to feedback from the intermediary market, the company has undertaken an across-the-board age band review and, following negotiations with their underwriter AXA, have reduced the cost of individual premiums by a minimum of 15 per cent on their two most comprehensive plans - WorldCare Excel and WorldCare Apex.
Now Health has also taken a decision to improve its group discount structure. Adding three new bands, company customers could benefit from up to a 50% discount on Now Health's book rates.
Martin Garcia, CEO, Now Health International commented:
"When we launched we knew that we would need to regularly review our pricing to continually offer market-leading value for money products. The market has changed since our pre-launch underwriter negotiations and is now more price sensitive. We have listened to our customers too, which we said we would do from the outset, and as a result have worked hard with our underwriters to agree these significant price reductions.
"Now Health International has set out to be a provider that offers exceptional value for money and we passionately believe we are doing this with an exciting new service offering for the international health insurance market. We will continually review our products, pricing and service offering, and upgrade and develop our technology on an ongoing basis. Most importantly we will work with and listen to our customers and intermediaries when looking to develop our business going forward."
Tim Mutton, Business Development Director commented:
"We want the intermediary community to know that we listen and take their feedback seriously. Based on what our partners have told us, we would like them to take advantage of our price reductions as much as possible and urge those who are quoting for business to come and talk to us now."
