Nutmeg Partners With Good Cause Gifts in West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, Conn., July 9, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union has partnered with Futures, Inc., a non-profit organization that supports individuals with disabilities, to add retail gift shop Good Cause Gifts to its West Hartford location at 937 Farmington Avenue. By solidifying groundbreaking partnerships with prominent organizations across the state, the credit union continues to be an innovator in both the banking and retail industries.

“A major component of our strategy is establishing retail partnerships and sharing space with businesses,” said John Holt, President and CEO of Nutmeg. “We did this with the Department of Motor Vehicles for our locations in Milford and North Haven and they have been very successful.”

Construction is underway and Nutmeg will soon complete renovations to the location and open shared space with Good Cause Gifts, a local company that currently operates gift shops in Berlin and New Britain. With a selection of clothing, accessories and more, this retail storefront will complement the Nutmeg services already provided in West Hartford. The upgraded location will provide convenient access to both retail shopping and financial services in a single, streamlined environment.
