Off Grid Wear Announces Earth Day Contest With iPod Touch as Grand Prize

Off Grid Wear has announced its launching contest that will end on April 22, 2013-Earth Day.

A new player on the sustainable clothing scene, the social-conscious company Off Grid Wear has announced its launching contest that will end on April 22, 2013-Earth Day.

The purpose of the contest is to raise awareness of the need for sustainable clothing and it is open to anyone over the age of 18. The first prize is an iPod Touch and many organic cotton t-shirts will be awarded as prizes as well for sharing this launch with friends.

"As supporters of sustainability, Off Grid Wear want to get the word out about the damaging effects of conventional grown-cotton," says Michael Newsom, the founder and owner of Off Grid Wear. "That more than 10,000 Americans die each year from cancer related to pesticides is just wrong," adds Newsom. Their short video, found on the contest page, reveals a small part of the truth about the clothing industry that leads to the death of thousands of people annually.

The contest details are found at the company's web site http://launch.offgridwear.com
