Outrider secures big wins and new business development head

Outrider Australia announces it's acquisition of new clients for both SEO and paid search. In addition find out about our new business development manager, Bernie Callan.

Australia's largest search marketing company, Outrider (a division of Group M), has announced two major new clients in the retail arena, Priceline and Dyson.

Both accounts were competitive pitches and Outrider will manage all paid search for Dyson, while it will handle SEO and social media for Priceline.

"These are both brilliant brands with robust digital strategies so we are very excited about further opportunities to bolster their online presence," said GroupM Search, Australia, General Manager Marcelo Silva.

Silva also announced a new position had been created for Bernie Callan, who joins to head up new business development.

Callan has held senior roles at First Click and Australian Associated Press as well as a number of roles across the UK and Europe in organisations such as Mintel International and The Dialog Corporation.

In late 2008 Callan ran his own private consulting business, specialising in Digital Marketing and Sales strategy, working with a number of businesses on enhancing their brand.

"Bernie has hit the ground running and has a great local and international perspective on search," said Silva.
