Painted Axe Dropping In On NAMM

Painted Axe will make a limited appearance at the 2010 Summer NAMM in Nashville June 18 and 19.

Indianapolis -- Painted Axe will make a limited appearance at the 2010 Summer NAMM in Nashville June 18 and 19. Summer also sparks a variety of new and exciting projects.

"NAMM remains a critical event. It's the place where Painted Axe can forge new partnerships and renew past acquaintances," said Michael Gauf, president of Painted Axe. "From Ronny North and Sphynx to Tregan Guitars and The Pick Guy, we appreciate the opportunity to spread the word about Painted Axe."

"We'll be easy to spot: Black and yellow Painted Axe bowling shirts. We'll have free picks, brochures and a selected number of discount coupons to give away," said Gauf.

Nearly as exciting, Painted Axe is exploring the possibility of displaying several custom-painted guitars and guitar video game controllers during the holiday season in a downtown Indianapolis artspace. Several Blues festivals also have contacted Painted Axe about custom projects.

"The possibilities for Painted Axe are broadening and increasing, including invitations to become vendors at guitar and art shows," said Gauf. "While we are flattered and will look at each opportunity, we will not lose sight of our connection with the performing musician and the music industry."

Painted Axe specializes in custom-painted guitars and gear. Its clients include John Lee Hooker Jr., Ronny North, Kerri Kelli, Jon Justice, Jay Goldberg Events, 'Bootz' Kenning, Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise and more.
