Pepperdine Concertmaster Joins Prestigious TakeLessons Roster
Online, November 17, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Google rolled out its music store this week, tightening the connection between the music industry and technology. As the industry continues to evolve with the help of the digital age, TakeLessons (http://takelessons.com), the nation's fastest growing private music lessons provider, is one step ahead of the curve, using online tools to help students reach their musical goals. Recently, TakeLessons added to its growing music teacher roster by hiring yet another certified instructor in Malibu, CA.
Chris H. will be teaching violin and viola to students of all ages throughout the Malibu area. Chris will be an excellent addition to the TakeLessons roster, which features instructors nationwide who have gone through a 7-step certification process.
As concertmaster of the Pepperdine Symphony Orchestra, Chris has experience in both performing and teaching. His specialty is classical music and the Suzuki method of learning.
"My teaching style is very hands-on, yet also laid back," said new teacher Chris. "Players should improve at a fast rate once their fundamentals have been properly instilled, though progress will depend on the level and attitude of the player."
TakeLessons takes students beyond just music lessons and offers a comprehensive user experience, with a personal online account to track scheduling, billing, and lesson journals all in one place. Current students have 24/7 access to their online accounts, and can connect with Student Counselors if they ever want to switch instructors or their lesson schedule.
Since its launch in 2006, TakeLessons has helped students pursue their passion for music by offering over 35 types of private music lessons that are taught by some of the nation's most talented local music instructors. The hiring of a new Malibu music teacher adds to TakeLessons' emerging presence in Southern California, with lessons offered in Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles and Santa Ana, as well.
