Philadelphia City Rowing Announces Environmental Education Grant From the William Penn Foundation

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, April 14, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Philadelphia City Rowing (PCR) is pleased to announce it has been awarded an $82,500 grant from the William Penn Foundation. This funding will allow PCR to formalize the environmental education portion of its programming and improve access by supporting increased participation.

The grant provides for the development and implementation of an environmental educational curriculum tailored to PCR participants and will allow PCR to offer increased access to the Delaware River watershed, including the Schuylkill River, area for 7^th through 12^th grade students attending public or charter school in Philadelphia.
