Pioneering Green Energy Radio Show Expands Nationwide
Online, May 2, 2010 (Newswire.com) - House Talk Today with Chris Miles a Dallas-based pioneering green energy show, has announced national syndication and has also added a podcast version of the popular radio show. Heard exclusively in Dallas, Texas for the past 15 years, House Talk Today's creator and host, green-building expert Chris Miles decided the climate was right to expand the program.
"There is a growing hunger for green-education. People want to know how to build energy-efficient homes and incorporate sustainable building methods and add energy-wise appliances in their homes. We don't just talk about it...we live it." said Miles.
Since 2004, Chris Miles has built numerous "Net Zero-Energy" homes that utilize solar power, rainwater harvesting, and energy-efficient heating and cooling equipment that not only saves our resources, but often saves the homeowner money. Greencraft Builders, LLC, Miles construction company, won the 2009 NAHB Silver Award for Hot Climate, for the Colleyville Eco-House he built that features a geothermal heating and cooling system.
Miles shares the hosting duties with Contractor and Home & Garden Show speaker and presenter, Alex Guthrie. Guthrie contributes to the website with a weekly blog, tackling such subjects as the cash for appliances program, wind power, and solar panel neighborhood building restrictions.
House Talk Today debuted in Houston, Texas Saturday May 1st on News Talk 1070 KNTH and can also be heard live on News Talk 660 KSKY in Dallas, Texas and Inspiration 1400 WZHR in Zephyr Hills, Florida.
