Indian insurance Industry has been growing rapidly since 2001 when the industry was thrown open to entry of Private players as well as foreign players (max limit of 26%).There is an acute shortage of trained manpower who can handle various aspects of health Insurance business, whether it is underwriting or product development. Health being the fastest growing segment of Indian insurance Industry many more jobs are coming up in this sector. According to S. K. Sethi, Vice President of IFI those who will be attending this programme in India will be upgrading themselves to handle responsible positions. Many of those who could not go to USA to attend this programme of Prof.Howard Bolnick will find a great opportunity to attend the same in New Delhi itself. We have planned for 50 seats but the response is so encouraging that we find the number may cross 80.
