Quanta Magazine Wins 2022 Webby People's Voice Award for Best Writing

NEW YORK, May 17, 2022 (Newswire.com) - Quanta Magazine was honored with a People's Voice Award for Best Writing (Editorial) yesterday at the 26th Annual Webby Awards, hosted by comedian Roy Wood Jr. Quanta was one of 14,000 entries from over 70 countries, with nearly 2 million votes cast in People's Voice ballots. This is the second People's Voice award the magazine has won — last year, Quanta was voted Best Science Website. This year, Quanta editor-in-chief Thomas Lin accepted the award on behalf of his team with a statement just shy of the ceremony's traditional five-word speech: "Writing tip: Be concise."
