Rebecca Schmitt's New Book 'The Doll Book' is a Captivating Story of Dolls and the Memorable Moments and Lessons They Had With Their Young Owners
Recent release "The Doll Book" from Covenant Books author Rebecca Schmitt is a heartwarming book about two dolls and their inspiring and wisdom-filled adventures with two girls.
EPHRAIM, Utah, May 21, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Rebecca Schmitt, a mother of seven, a grandmother of 29, and a fifth-grade teacher, has completed her new book, “The Doll Book”: a vividly illustrated story about two extraordinary dolls and two young girls whom each learn the importance of compassion and loyalty.
Rebecca writes, “Several years ago, the author decided to make dolls for each of her granddaughters for Christmas. This was no easy task since there were 15 granddaughters. As each doll emerged with its own coloring and personality, Rebecca decided to write a story for each doll and the granddaughter it went to. Here are the first two of those stories. Evelyn’s story is about loving our country as she goes back in time with her doll to experience the night that inspired the writing of our national anthem. Allie’s story is about the joy of giving as she and her doll give a needy couple a wonderful Thanksgiving. These heartwarming stories will bring joy to both children and parents as they read and share these stories together.”
Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Rebecca Schmitt’s new book beholds a colorful yarn of dolls as irreplaceable companions for children in their journey through life.
A culmination of the author’s love for her granddaughters, “The Doll Book” features the first of a series of short stories of dolls and their educational and supportive impact on children.
Readers can purchase “The Doll Book” at bookstores everywhere or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble.
