REIS Profiling, Inc. Announces Prototype Of Its Remote Ethnic Identification System

Online, April 1, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Reis Profiling, Inc. (ticker reserved: REPI) today announced a full and complete successful test of its prototype Remote Ethnic Identification System (REIS). Says CEO Chelmij Telff: "Simply put, our scientists have succeeded in digitizing smells much the same way earlier pioneers were able to digitize music."

It has long been established that bloodhounds have a sense of smell 10-100 million times more sensitive than humans. In contrast, the REIS has a sensitivity of 1-10 billion times normal human smell. This is accomplished by capturing and amplifying a microscopic olfactory signal which is immediately classified against 20 main haplogroups. The resulting numerical reading is then registered on the REIS using conventional ethnic descriptors.
For example, as primates trace back to Africa, an internal numerical reading of 0 displays as ethnically pure "Black". The scale then evolves up to a maximum reading of 100 for an ethnically pure Jew. Those with Asian heritage blend in at a reading of 50.

According to Israeli born Chief Scientist Dr. Yod Body, the REIS currently has an average range of 60 meters, though fidelity has been achieved at 100 meters in headwinds as slight as six knots. Both readings were achieved with the device fully entrenched in the pocket of its user.

The initial target market is law enforcement though a consumer version should be available shortly thereafter. Adds CEO Telff: "We are also working with several municipal governments down south on a version that can be installed both at airports and alongside EZ Pass detectors on highways. Once we are able to obtain IEEE certification, we hope to be able to send prototypes overseas to aid in finding the victims of natural disasters."

REIS Profiling has joint ventures pending with both Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) and Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) for adding ethnic data to their respective mapping platforms.
