Safe Guard Building Systems Upgrades Steel Panel Systems

Online, October 20, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Safe Guard Building Systems, a member of Super Stud Building Products' Group, has announced a major development to its FRO MAR Steel Panel System. The system recently received Miami-Dade County Building Code Compliance NOA (#08-1219.02). It's the market's first and only steel panel system with this approval rating. FRO MAR Steel Panels are now certified to withstand winds from Category 5 storms without the need for any exterior sheathing.

The FRO MAR Steel Panel System is manufactured from structural grade mill-prime, hot-dipped galvanized steel sheets. Most single-story structural applications can be constructed using 33 mil (20 gauge) steel, making it easier to screw into the panels and easier to apply architectural exterior finishes. FRO MAR, an environmentally friendly product that uses recycled steel, is also an incredibly cost-effective and safer alternative to traditional exterior framing and sheathing systems.
