Scott Tucker Unveils Happy Daytona Memories
Online, March 8, 2012 (Newswire.com) - As the 2012 NASCAR season got under way with the Daytona 500, 2011 ALMS series winner Scott Tucker spoke of his fond recollections of his own Daytona Dream. Scott Tucker currently is at Sebring testing for the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh From Florida and recalled his memories of his podium finish at Daytona in the 2010 Rolex 24.
Scott Tucker was the subject of a feature length motion picture titled 'Daytona Dream' which chronicled Scott Tucker and the Level 5 Motorsports team for a year as they prepared for and then competed in the legendary race in 2010. Scott Tucker and the Level 5 Motorsports team finished the race in 3rd place earning a podium finish and has great memories of Daytona.
According to Scott Tucker Daytona is a special place, there is no question about it, and he added that he was very proud of his podium there in 2010 adding that there is nothing like going into the Daytona records books. The 2012 ALMS series season starts this spring at Sebring and five time national driving champion Scott Tucker will be aiming towards a repeat of last year's victory which set him on the way to the 2011 ALMS championship.
Scott Tucker was joined at Sebring this week by team-mates Joao Barbosa and Ryan Hunter-Reay as they put the concluding touches to their preparations for the new season with their new HPD ARX-03b car. According to Scott Tucker the test was a very worthwhile one, and it helped us to understand the car and which direction we should go. The 60th annual Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh from Florida kicks of the new 2012 ALMS season this spring.
