Self-Titled Debut Album From Amel Rose to Be Released July 17: Offers Eclectic Collection of Songs Stressing Unity, Love and Courage

The Amel Rose, the debut hip-hop/pop album from Amel Rose to be released July 17.

Over the past three months, recording artist Amel Rose released four singles to begin the introduction of her unique blend of hip hop and pop to the music world. And, finally, the moment her fast-growing following has waited for has arrived. On July 17, she will release her self-titled debut album, The Amel Rose, produced by DJ Fredy Muks, on all major streaming services.

The album includes the much anticipated, Enough Enough Enough, which is a plea for love and unity against the current backdrop in the U.S. of racism, police misconduct and protests. The vivid cover art, which brilliantly captures the passion behind Rose’s music, has been recreated in painting form by the wildly popular JoJo Bros and will be auctioned at the album release event. Proceeds from the auction are earmarked for social justice and equal rights initiatives to support the African American community in the Hollywood Hills area.

The first four singles from the album have already racked up over a half million streams across all platforms, and the remaining four have certainly been worth the wait. Notable in the lineup are Rose’s collaboration on Tears for Ransom with Muks, the internationally acclaimed DJ and songwriter who also boasts producer credit on the album; and Told A Lie which features rap superstar, Sharaya J, known for her singles, BANJI and Smash Up the Place and her role on the Fox Network’s The Four: Battle for Stardom.

Yet, despite the strength of those pair-ups, Rose can hold her own – and then some. With Your Story, listeners get an intimate glimpse into her life, and Atrocity digs deeper into the experiences that have shaped her.

So, who exactly is this young, up-and-comer who has the tenacity to duet with industry superstars and take bold stances on social issues? Surprisingly enough, Rose is a wise- and gifted-beyond-her-years native of a small town in Texas called Bellville, with a population of 4,000 – give or take. She was inspired to write and perform by her grandmother who introduced her to songs of an earlier era and shared her passion for music. She made the bold move to Los Angeles with her sister to pursue her musical dreams and her meeting with Muks was the lucky break she had believed in.

“The album means the world to me, and I cannot wait to hear what the fans think. The response to the singles already released has been phenomenal, so I am hoping for more of the same,” said Rose. “Enough Enough Enough is especially important right now, and it is my call to the world for unity, love and acceptance of each other.”

The Amel Rose by Amel Rose, produced by DJ Fredy Muks, is available July 17 on all major streaming services. For more information about the artist, follow her on Instagram and YouTube.
