Serious Releases Hot New Single

Online, March 26, 2011 (Newswire.com) - SERIOUS aka the Ivy League rapper has released the first single from her debut album Shofar.

Dubbed "Live," this first track sets the tone for this Christian rap project and showcases her versatility.

Raised in Brooklyn, Serious has been rapping since she was 12. At the age of 18 she had to make a decision about her musical aspirations. She could either listen to her peers and continue to make mixtapes or find a career that was respectable.

Serious chose the latter.

Serious went on to win accolades in journalism and landed a job at the New York Post and continued to break stories.

Interestingly enough, she interviewed Lil Kim, Buck Shot Shorty and many other main stream rappers as a reporter for the Post.
