Siobhan Magnus and Aerosmith Bassist

Online, January 16, 2011 (Newswire.com) - A star-studded panel of judges will lend their names and talents to The Ryan J. Lariviere Memorial Fund charity, established to provide financial and professional assistance to original artists.

The judges who will award a prize package valued in excess of $10,000 are:

Idol finalist Siobhan Magnus
In 2010, singer-songwriter Siobhan Magnus of Barnstable won the hearts of television viewers across America when she battled her way to sixth place on American Idol and became an overnight success. In addition to judging Siobhan will be opening the show with her band "Lunar Valve."

Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton
Aerosmith bassist and songwriter Tom Hamilton is known for his musical achievements. He is also the recipient of the 2007 Boston Music Awards Personal Achievement Award for winning his battle against throat cancer and his strong community involvement.

Producer Anthony J Resta
American record producer and musician Anthony J. Resta is the recipient of multi RIAA (Record Industry Association of America) certified gold and multi-platinum awards in recognition for his innovative recording techniques and work on the soundtrack of the successful Twighlight films. Some of his high profile clients include Sir Elton John, Blondie and Sara Evans.

Percussionist Martin Vazquez
Cape Cod resident and international award winning percussion educator Martin Vazquez is the designer of the MV Vader drumstick. He is also founder of Hyannis based "All Star Academy" which facilitates free ensemble music education.

Rick and Marie Lariviere established The Ryan J. Lariviere Memorial Fund charity in 2003 following the loss of their only child Ryan, an avid 21-year-old musician. The Fund, a registered 501(c) (3) charity, awards financial and professional assistance to HUD qualifying, low income, original artists whose musical talents and ideologies reflect those of Ryan's. The Fund grants financial and promotional assistance in recording, producing, replicating and distributing a professionally illustrated and packed demo CD to the Grand Prize winner.
