Social Competitive Shooting Community Project Underway
Net Competitor is building a social competitive shooting community to connect shooting athletes and support junior shooting programs.
Sandpoint, ID, September 24, 2015 (Newswire.com) - A startup company named Net Competitor has started a community project that aims to use the Internet to connect people for a friendly competition whenever they want to shoot.
Anyone, any team, will be able to set up a quick match at any time. They will have the ability to find and keep a list of people and teams they like the most. Competitors will be able to see how they rank against others, communicate with one another, and earn awards for their achievements. Net Competitor is adding these, along with other features, to promote the sport of shooting and a portion of proceeds from the applications they build will go to support junior shooting programs.
Beginning as young as six years old, male or female, handicapped or not, shooting truly is a sport anyone can enjoy. With the support of the NRA, CMP, and the rest of the shooting community, most clubs provide the equipment to start with for free. Shooting ranges across the country feature friendly instructors and fellow athletes who love to teach the sport. There are several disciplines available and from them come benefits that are carried on throughout life. People of all ages enjoy competitive shooting and it enriches lives. It should be preserved. With competitive shooting online, Net Competitor is hoping to bring together a community to do just that.
Net Competitor started out as a website to run postal leagues but has been adding features to this service, the biggest of which is planned for release early next year. It's entire existence is going to depend on people wanting to meet each other and get together for a little shooting. The best way to follow as this is happening, or to be a part, is to find them on popular social media, such as Facebook (netcompetitor) or Twitter (@NetCompetitor), or joining their mailing list on their website.
