SOLARHOT Announces the Launch of Solar Collector Manufacturing in North Carolina

Online, April 14, 2010 (Newswire.com) - SOLARHOT, a leading manufacturer of solar energy products in Morrisville, North Carolina, has announced that its Platinum Series solar hot water collectors will be manufactured in their North Carolina facility. By manufacturing the solar collectors in North Carolina, SOLARHOT has expanded its offering of products that meet the requirements of the Made in America provision of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), signed into law by President Barack Obama in 2009, is an economic stimulus package that is intended to promote the U.S. economic recovery.

SOLARHOT's Platinum Series collectors, designed to be both attractive and efficient, featuring all copper absorbers, blue sputtered absorber coating, eleven copper risers, polyurethane insulation and low-iron solar glass. They are available in three sizes, 4' x 6.5', 4' x 8' and 4' x 10'.
